Saatvik Green Energy Secures Order Worth ₹1,041.63 Crore from SECI for Supply of Solar PV Modules

Saatvik Green Energy Limited today announced that it has beenselected by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) as one of the bidders under a tender for the manufacturing, testing, packing, supply, and transportation of domestically manufactured solar PV modules using domestic solar cells. Saatvik has been awardeda 600 MWp capacity package, with an aggregate order value of INR 1,041.63 crores. The order is scheduled to be executed by December 2027.

The order underscores the growing confidence of India’s leading government-backed energy institution in Saatvik’s manufacturing capabilities, product quality, and executiontrack record. Saatvik’s selection in this tender is a direct validation of the Company’s ALMM-compliant manufacturing capabilities and its readiness to serve large-scale government infrastructure projects with domestically sourced solar equipment.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Prashant Mathur, CEO, Saatvik Green Energy Limited, said, “The 600 MWp order from SECI, under a tender requiring domestically manufactured solar cells, is significant not only for its scale but for what it represents for India’srenewable energy ecosystem. It reflects the growing momentum behind domestic manufacturing and the shift towards a more integrated and self-reliant solar value chain an evolution that Saatvik has been strategically building for.

With our 4.86 GW module manufacturing facility in Ambala and our integrated manufacturing expansion in Odisha comprising 2.4 GW of cell and 4 GW of module capacity in PhaseI, with a further 3.6 GW of cell capacity proposed in Phase II, we are building the capabilities required to participate meaningfully across the solar manufacturing value chain. As our Odisha cell facility progresses towards ALMM List-II enlistment, we arestrengthening our ability to meet evolving domestic-content requirements with greater depth and scale. We see this order as more than a commercial milestone. It is a strong validation of our manufacturing strategy, our execution capabilities and our convictionin building a globally competitive, integrated solar manufacturing platform from India.”

This order adds materially to Saatvik’s order book and further consolidates the Company’s position as a preferred supplier in the utility-scale solar segment. It also alignswith India’s push for energy self-sufficiency under the ‘Make in India’ initiative by driving demand for domestically manufactured solar components.
