PureSil Paints Plans Pan-India Expansion, Targets 100 Footprints in 12 Months

PureSil Paints, the mineral-based architectural coatings brand from Relic Coatings LLP, is targeting 100 footprints across India’s major metropolitan cities and state capitals over the next 12 months. The company aims to expand its distribution network while promoting sustainable, domestically developed alternatives in the architectural coatings industry.

It has appointed channel partners in Nagpur, Cuttack, Pune, Kolkata, Raipur and Vadodara, marking the first phase of its expansion. Since its commercial rollout in August 2026, the company has focused on product trials, customer engagement, distribution development and institutional project opportunities.

A 100% Made in India product, PureSil Paints combines indigenous technology with locally sourced raw materials, resulting in negligible dependence on imports for its raw material requirements. This approach strengthens supply-chain resilience and supports India’s vision of self-reliance in manufacturing.

At the core of PureSil Paints is its mineral silicate technology, incorporating a rice husk ash-based silicate binder and proprietary silicification technology. By utilising Rice Husk Ash and Fly Ash, the product promotes the productive use of agricultural and industrial by-products in construction materials.

Its zero-VOC formulation, breathable coating technology and focus on long life position PureSil Paints as an alternative for environmentally conscious construction. Breathability allows moisture vapour to escape through the coating, supporting healthier wall performance. Available in multiple colours and SKUs, the range caters to diverse architectural requirements across residential and commercial applications.

As environmental considerations gain prominence, the paints and coatings industry is increasingly exploring formulations with lower environmental impact. Growing emphasis on low-VOC and zero-VOC products, alongside demand for resource-efficient construction materials, is creating opportunities for sustainable mineral-based alternatives.

Commenting on the expansion, Dr Nikhil Dhote, Founder and Chief Technologist, PureSil Paints, said, “We believe the future of the coatings industry lies in combining performance, sustainability and indigenous innovation. Our focus is to build a strong pan-India presence while offering an alternative that addresses evolving environmental expectations and India’s growing emphasis on self-reliance.”

It is targeting residential and commercial real estate, institutional buildings, urban infrastructure and industrial establishments. The company plans to expand selectively, prioritising capable channel partners and strengthening its operations in line with market demand.
