Triveni Power Transmission lists on BSE and NSE, marking a new chapter of focused growth

Triveni Power Transmission (TPTL), a leading manufacturer of high-speed gearboxes and engineered power transmission solutions, yesterday announced the listing of its equity shares on the BSE and NSE.

The listing follows the demerger of the Power Transmission Business (PTB) of Triveni Engineering & Industries (TEIL) into TPTL under a Composite Scheme of Arrangement approved by the Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal. The scheme became effective on May 19, 2026, with the demerger appointed date being April 1, 2026. Under the scheme, eligible TEIL shareholders received one fully paid-up equity share of TPTL of face value ₹2 for every three fully paid-up equity shares of TEIL held as on the record date of July 22, 2026.

TPTL has listed 10,47,54,338 fully paid-up equity shares of face value ₹2 each. The company’s shares will trade on BSE under scrip code 544824, with the trading symbol TRIVENIPT and ISIN INE2WKE01011.

Commenting on the milestone, Tarun Sawhney, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Triveni Power Transmission, said, “The listing of Triveni Power Transmission Limited marks an important strategic milestone in our journey. The demerger and independent listing create a platform for sharper business focus, more transparent performance evaluation and independent growth, providing an opportunity to unlock value for our shareholders over the long term.”

Talking about the future growth he added, “As an independent listed company, TPTL is well positioned to pursue its distinct growth agenda with greater agility and disciplined capital allocation. Building on our legacy of engineering excellence, we will continue to invest in technology, talent and capabilities to deepen our presence across industrial, marine and defence applications, while creating sustainable value for all stakeholders.”

The demerger enables TPTL to operate as a focused entity, aligning its strategy, investment priorities and operating capabilities with the specific opportunities of the power transmission business. The company’s engineering capabilities span high-speed and niche low-speed gearboxes, aftermarket services, refurbishment, upgrades and lifecycle support for critical industrial applications.

Rajiv Rajpal, CEO, Triveni Power Transmission, said, “This is a defining moment for TPTL and our teams. We begin this new chapter with more than five decades of experience in solving complex power transmission challenges for customers worldwide. Our focus will remain on delivering dependable, application-specific solutions, strengthening lifecycle support for our installed base and advancing our presence in high-value industrial and defence segments. The listing provides a strong platform to accelerate this next phase of our growth.”

TPTL serves global original equipment manufacturers, EPC companies and industrial customers across sectors including power generation, oil and gas, chemicals and fertilisers, steel, cement, sugar and distillery, marine and defence. Its integrated offerings cover new equipment, retrofits, replacements, upgrades, refurbishment and long-term aftermarket services.
